Supervision
My Approach as a Supervisor:
It all begins with the relationship. I believe this is true whether it is the counselor/client relationship or the supervisor/supervisee relationship.
Supporting counselors on their journey to becoming licensed is something I am very excited about! I focus on helping supervisees develop their clinical insight and judgement from a holistic perspective. Helping a supervisee strengthen their skills, define professional direction, and improve confidence navigating complex situations is important to fostering growth as a counselor
Warm, open, and conversational is my style in both therapy and supervision.
I have worked in agencies and schools as a counselor, supervisor, program manager, and Clinic Director. My experiences over the years have spanned a wide range of client types and situations. This has helped me always continue to grow.
I am adventurous, am a lifelong learner - currently a student working on another degree, and passionate about my interests which include reading, the beach, and my new love of hiking.
I have two adult children and a grandson.
